Domestic creatures?

How you set which domestic creatures your civ gets?  DFHackery i assume?

P.s.:  The orcs historically have had their custom animals (SQUIG, DIRE_WOLF_ORC, SHAGGY_MUMAK, STEPPE_AUROCHS, ARCTIC_CONDOR, TAIGA_SABRECAT).

Are there any "regular" animals you'd like to see them have access to (WILD_BOAR?)

Are there more custom orky or pleistocene-style animals you'd like to see added?  ... Although, This may not happen unless it's a *really* great idea, or someone other than me steps up to create it ;)

Glyptodonts could make a nice livestock option, both for food and a source of shell for crafts and armoring.

I would like to see a chitin pet, but I'm kinda in love with chitin plate clothing, so it might not be a good idea...

Just add something like this:

AddPetToCiv -civ SUCCUBUS -race NIGHTMARE -caste MALE
AddPetToCiv -civ SUCCUBUS -race NIGHTMARE -caste FEMALE

Syntax:
Code: [Select]
script_name -civ entity_id -race creature_id -caste creature_caste
Scripts are "AddPetToCiv" (pets at embark), "AddMinionToCiv" (trolls are minion of goblins), "AddPullToCiv" (stuff that pulls wagons), "AddMountToCiv" (Sieges ride those), "AddPackToCiv" (pack-creatures for caravans... I think those were bugged, they appear but are empty, so go with wagon pullers instead.)

Thanks, I had found/remembered that the scripts exist but didn't know how to call them :)

I like the idea of Glyptodonts too.  Maybe in the future.

would a Glyptodon give a lot of Shell plate? That is kinda what it looks like from the wiki page...

Getting those leatherwing bats (from the Deeper Dwarven Domestication mod), or something equivalent with 'shearable' leather, would be super, super handy!

Fun wikipedia bonus fact: The word armadillo means "little armoured one" in Spanish. The Aztecs called them āyōtōchtli [aːjoːˈtoːt͡ʃt͡ɬi], Nahuatl for "turtle-rabbit".  (i.e. there was no particularly obvious common name for the orcs to use to describe glyptodons.  Let me know if you prefer Dire Turtle-Rabbit.)
