Could you set Auto-chop to not include Gathering zones?

I like my fruit trees.  Auto-chop is a huge time saver if i don't care about gathering fruit/nuts but useless to me usually.  Setting Auto-chop to "nonfruit trees only"  might work but I think "ignore Gathering zones" would be easier.  People could still single out trees one at a time but auto-chop wouldn't automatically destroy my nearest food source.

You want the modding forum I think. Specifically the Dfhack thread.
Unless 43.x new manager added an autochop function, in which case, sorry please ignore me.
