I got the message that my King arrived with his entourage an that i am a Mountainhome now, but no one came in from the edges of the Screen.
He is shown in my Dwar Therapist but is missing on my Unit and Noble and i cant assign him rooms
My fortress is reachable from all sides and i have been waiting for 6 months now

My guess is that you're a victim of the same bug (cause unknown) that causes caravans to arrive but not appear. I wouldn't hold any great hopes for them to appear, and wouldn't be surprised if they'd gone bonkers if/when they do.

DFhack is the classical solution to these problems, I believe.

That or waiting until the king dies of old age.

I'm pretty sure one of your nobles kidnapped him, and maybe ate him.

The only way to set him free is to kill all the nobles. The King will be able to escape once the offending noble is dead. You might get lucky and hit him on the first try, but probably not.
