back to vanilla-like professions in New Masterwork?

You are back to using the vanilla professions, now, right?  No more overriding Miller and Tanner and etc., so this is obsolete?

Without a modified executable, all the skill names are back to default, so renaming professions into something unrelated would be confusing.

However there is new skills to use in workshops so you should be able to find what you need.

Yes, everything back to normal. Patching the string-dump was fun, but some things made the game crash; and so many things depended on that utility, that I dread the day it doesnt work anymore.

Edit: You can check the wiki, there are two new sections for skills, Knowledge Skills and Art Skills, but I think that they have no labor attached.

Gelding has a labor, as does papermaking.

Oh, I'm certainly fine with going back to the vanilla professions, i found the renamed ones a little confusing to work with!  The orc graphics in v1.00 still have that New Professions code in there, just wanted to double check that i was right to change it.

Gelding has a labor, as does papermaking.

Huh.  I wonder what a Gelder sprite should look like...

You could google it if you are brave. I ended putting a pincer like tool used to geld horses on my succubi.

Just using the orc carpenter sprite.  He's already got some big serrated knife or rasp -- that'll probably do the trick.
