Question: planet nomads: is it worth it?

I've seen it for sale and I'm considering it as a "modernized minecraft in space". But given how badly No Man Sky went, I want to ask before rushing in to buy.

It's decent, but there's no multiplayer yet. They've started adding on structures so the world will feel a lot less lonely than it did when it first launched though.

Not too interested in MP myself.  Single player wise, how does it compare?

Kind of a mix between modded Minecraft and maybe Planet Explorers? You can set up automated production and mining, with conveyers and everything. You can also build your vehicles like Planet Explorers.
