I would ask why fire can burn two men to death without getting hot enough to burn a book, but then I read "INEXTINGUISHABLE RUNNING KAMIKAZE RADIOACTIVE FLAMING ZOMBIE" and realized that logic, reason, and physics are all occupied with crying in the corner right now.

Yeah, there's a bit of a problem here. I have a feeling way too much of the actions are : "Wait and eat something"

Any solution to that?

Well we have little energy now, I would wait till we have mobility and better weapons to truley explore the world.

Still, the feeling that this going nowhere is annoying. Perhaps it might be better to switch to slightly longer turns?

Maybe only end a turn when we have enough energy to do things or something interesting happens?
So rather than:
Turn 1: You develop new parts. Turn 2: x hours pass, You catch something.
We'd have: Turn 1: You develop new parts ... x hours pass, you catch something.
Hence skipping the turn spent waiting to catch something?

So yeah, basically having slightly longer turns.

It appears quite a bit of time has past already, and you're almost surprised by the onset of night. The cold slows you down, and combined with your low energy it leaves you in a rather immobile state. You slowly fall away in a sleeplike state. The next day, as soon as the first light of the sun hits you, you reawaken and scitter over towards the webs. It appears that a single insect has gotten caught, and died in it's struggle.

You consume it, but find that it's death left little for you to assimilate. Presumably, other insects might get caught as well, and get stuck similarly, even if you're not around to actively care for it.

Name:  ???
Energy: 20/43
Biomass: 7.140 cm3
Abilities : DNA assimilation, Epigenetic Tags, Despecialization
Current look: A strange green creature with a chitin chield, about the size of a large insect. It has moth wings, and tiny, almost ineffective legs. It observes the world through it's tiny insectoid eyes, and a long, curling proboscis. Beware it's webs and secretions.

Try to climb downwards in a slow manner. Whilst doing so you shall observe your surrounding, and map the lower tree part, if you come across a beast of smaller size attack and absorb.

Any future games will be simpler in nature, I have a bad habit of biting off more than I can chew. Also hoping for more players in them.

I have Discord for my games now(not necessary to play, tho might be easier to contact me): https://discord.gg/DuaARAZ
