Hey guys, I am back in town after some travel. I see I have a few people who would like to be whitelisted and I will do that as soon as possible, as well as updating the server to 1.1.5

Is there any way other than a deconstruction table to get research aspects in Thaumcraft? I'm in the middle to later researches but I've gotten stuck.

The farm to the left is someone else's, but everything else in the image is mine. The three redstone blocks to the right power some node-related things to ensure that I always have enough vis. There are also two furnaces and my house is partially visible at the top of the image.

(although I did spend a few days looking for some of the categories of thaumcraft research without realizing that there are tabs on the right and not just the left)

I found out by accident. It's generally best to keep them for the otherwise unattainable research, but if you want to you can use them for aspects. Only the primal aspects I believe, though.

There's a thing in one of the Thaumcraft addons that allows books to be processed into knowledge fragments.

So I want to create a taint biome since I haven't found any natural ones. Any advice (and yes, it will be in a mystcraft dimension and not the main world)?

Update: I am still alive. I have been super duper sick this last week or so since I got back from travel, also work sucked.

Anyway I'll be updating the Simply Magic server soon and will likely open up a new one at some point this week with another pack for those who aren't into the magic focus thing.

Also, I managed to create my own taint biome - I used a primal focus to create a few blocks of it and then I put a node in it to convert it and spread the biome.

Mostly a few mods were updated to latest versions.
