So my fortress is getting pretty big and one way I navigate through it is using a lever and linking a bridge so I can zoom in from the lever in z-layer 1 to the bridge in z-layer -112 in 3 seconds.

I was wondering if you could have the option to zoom to where you placed the Notes instead.

Try H for hotkeys which let you zoom to player defined locations using F1 - F8 and Shift F1 - F8.

You could probably write a macro that takes you up/down a level, then set that to repeat (ctrl-U) X times from level 0 (reached by hotkey.)

You can only have one macro active at a time, so it's not that convenient, really. IDK how long it would take to scroll you there either. Hotkeys are the way to go if you have a specific level you frequent. I mean, who's going to remember the numbers of all their important levels?

Thinking about this issue and how you need to keep updating the hotkeys as you dig down, it made me think that it'd be useful to have a shortcut that takes you to the lowest level you've dug to so far.
