To use it, copy the code and paste it into "hack/scripts/p-test.lua" in your Dwarf Fortress directory, then run "p-test" in the dfhack console.

Surprised that only one of my dwarves is pregnant. What all the guys do to their wives during time alone? Manicure?

Also, wild birds get pregnant too. Too bad they can't carry the "pregnancy" through.
The guys do what guys usually do: spend the time at the tavern getting wasted. so there isn't much time alone, especially since the wives are in the tavern getting wasted as well.
You'd just need to mod in bird houses that act as nest boxes but only for wild egg layers (I wonder how the rocs would get in though the hole, though).

I only noted ages and deity, but not yet the marriage/love propensity.
Question: Is that from a trait? Some value read from DTherapist? or dfhack?

DFhack's gaydar will tell you if dwarves are willing to marry or not.

Just found out today that four of my starting seven had formed lover relationships with one another - but one of the dwarves in each couple was unwilling to marry sadly.

The lever trick is definitely a good idea. Now, is there enough room in the room for two additional levers (yes, there should be)? The !NOW! modification might be a bit too stressful, though.

A little bit of micro via adding a citizen burrow and having the lever on repeat (do it now! x1 only) then subsequent pulls switched to normal job which will make them tend to stick around the 1 tile lever burrow until drink/eat those should be in the room already.
