Just came here to say.. I've never heard of this game before now, but the advertisement on RPS is probably one of the neatest and clever ads I've seen. Without even knowing anything about the game I can kinda guess what it's like. It's animated but it only animates when you're moving the mouse.

I think I finally figured out how to dodge bullets. I could show you but killstagram didn't record my recordings for some reason?

Basically dodged a couple of shotgun blasts by going between the bullets. It's weird that it's never pointed out in the game itself that your hitbox varies so much depending on where you're looking. Suddenly levels are a lot easier now.

The hitbox itself is very, very wonky, because it uses the same hitbox as enemy, I belive, so you can get killed by hits to bodyparts you can't even see.

Yeah, you're basically a pancake with stubby little legs. Maybe even a crepe.

Yeah, it does. I actually decided to upload my first replay (on the hospital-thing where you have to push a dude off a ledge at the beginning) because of an accidental dodge like that - I turned right as a bullet was flying to the right of me, missing the right shoulder/arm hitbox only thanks to that move.

That I proceeded to dodge a shotgun blast by jumping directly up in the middle of it didn't exactly hurt the decision either.

Can confirm your hitbox is much narrower when sideways. It makes me wonder why there's no option for third-person replays.  It'd make your moves a lot more visible to your adoring spectators.

Also, turning to dodge looks fucking sweet on replays.  Works best in fullstop.

There is an option for that, IIRC 0 or 5 is freecam - but your character has a weird 'glitch' model which makes seeing edges hard.

Doens't work for me.  Clicking a locked mode and exiting disables the challenge button

Did you guys notice you can hold space in mid-air to slow down time, or am I the idiot to not realize it until the penultimate level?

Are there any interesting replays of playthroughs? Like a real-time and player-time replay? I'd like to see them in either times.

I watched a complete 1 hour LP of SUPERHOT and I think that's about all it's worth. It's a fine tech demo for a full game, and/or the length is an acceptable free demo for shareware, and of course people should give money to an unfinished project if they like it ... but the writing, gameplay depth, and new content length are lacking for a game with a price tag attached. The infinite respawn mode adds about as much value as an all-you-can-eat raw potato buffet. Which is to say, enjoy it as long as you can stomach it.

Where can I find this establishment, and can I bring butter?
