I do suspect that tavern keepers will serve alcohol to vampires, just like they do to other beings that have [NO_DRINK].
At least it's worth doing some !!SCIENCE!! on. Let us know if your dwarven wine - sired vampires get served drinks in a tavern.

I removed alcohol dependence from the tags, but that doesn't PREVENT them from drinking, does it?

Everyone in my fort is a vampire now, including guests. I still see the occasional "Serving Dwarven Wine" from the tavern keeper, but I'm not sure to whom. So they obviously serve booze to vampires, it's just a question of whether it's vampire guests, vampire citizens, or both.

No. Removing [ALCOHOL_DEPENDANT] just stop a creature from becoming unhappy/slowdown without alcohol.
