(Alright, I'm just going to start typing like normal now. Writing the words by hand like that on my touch pad takes too long.)

The static erodes the walls slowly, gradually removing that which anchors your chains. Eventually the static will reach that which powers the chains and erode it, freeing you, but the Lords might have arrived by then.

Except.. through the gash in the wall, you see Lesser Nightmares, warped creatures of a caliber and strength lesser than yours. Tiny, warped creatures, likely spanned from warped soul shards. They watch you as you watch them, and they're just close enough that you might reach them and do something to them, whether that be to satisfy your urge to burn and rend them with your fire, or use them to escape somehow..

Or you could simply wait, safe in the knowledge that the presence of these creatures indicates that this region has devolved into chaos and been freed from the System. Meaning the Lords shall not be able to reach you till they restore order. And behind every region in which the System is overthrown, a greater entity is always behind the lesser entities, compelling them and driving them to their purpose. If you wait, the Greater Nightmare who is behind this may come see you soon.
