Tbh, I only had the most basic system of bonuses and penalties. Situational stuff. Im totally not at all ashamed to admit that I was making up rules as I went along, like a doof

At best I was making sure to have consistency between rolls.

Yeah, really need to do some more forward planning the next time I run a game.
