My jeweler got a fey mood and went into the workshop, picked up a single rock crystal and created . . . this:

An artifact cut gem. Anyone else had one of these before? The creator is still carrying it around, of course, but if he drops it, I might be able to encrust something with it. If I could encrust another artifact with it and the multipliers from both stacked, then it'd have a value multiplier of 120^2 before even taking into account the base worth. So it'd be (item value) x 14400   Let's see if it's possible!

I think large gems count as finished goods, I'd assume perfect (artifact) gems work the same way... So I don't think you can encrust anything with it, though that would be really cool...
