Weather in your worlds

I'm curious, what kind of weather do your dwarves experience in your forts. Does it rain rarely? Rain nonstop? A nice balance of both? As for me, it rains all the time, and only stops for at most five minutes before it begins raining again, same goes for snow storms.

I like temperate heavily forested maps (aka all green on stats). My favorite area which was first named 'steeldance' (I go back to that area on a backed up save now when I want to restart) is everything I want basically.  The weather there is even nice, snows some, rains some, but not too much of both.  Pretty realistic weather for the land description.

I always turn weather off, it doesn't do anything except cut my FPS. I keep temperature on, though, because I want to see stuff on fire.
