Modded creature hostile to its own civ

So i tried to make a new creature with its own civ. Everything seemed to work fine, however as i went to adventure mode to test it futher i noticed the following things

1.As soon as im seen by my own custom creature (both same race) they will attack me relentlessly, same goes for goblins that seem to live with my custom civ.
2.I am unable to talk to them, they will not give any kind of answer to anything my character says.
3.The creature is friendly with boogeymen, yet still gets ambushed by them, resulting in boogeymen constantly teleporting in closer to my adventurer only to remain still and do nothing.

I'm no expert in how adventure mode works, but I'll take a shot with what I can:

2. In the creature raws, the [NOTHOUGHT] token prevents speech.

As for your side question, kind of. If you're making a new material, you just need to make interactions for that material and then allow only the civs you want to be able to use that material to use that interaction. For nonsensical example: I want to make Koboldite a usable metal, which will be an alloy of cobaltite and iron. I make an interaction that allows cobaltite and iron ore to be smelted together to create a bar of Koboldite. I allow only the Kobold civilization to use this interaction. Money.

If you want to restrict the use of vanilla materials to certain civs, you're gonna have a bad time. For example: Dwarves shall be allowed to make clothes out of silk, but shall NOT be making clothes out of any plant material. As there are no reactions in the raws for making clothes, I will need to get very creative.

Thanks! I will try out and see if removing [NOTHOUGHT] fixes any of the other problems i have or if i manage to find out what is causing the strange behavior, will post results soon!

Update! removing [NOTHOUGHT] seems to have fixed the issue with the talking and also attacking their own civ, however the problem with boogeymen still exists.

Ive also noticed that depending on map size (bigger means earlier) the game will crash while creating a world at around 20 years in biggest possible maps, 70 in the one after that, 100-200 after that and so on. Replacing the entity raws with human entity files fixed this but i'd like to know what causes this.

Also how exactly do i make a reaction that the civ would use, dwarves have a reaction for making adamantine wafers yet they are never seen with adamantine clothes or weapons anywhere other than in your own fort so how would a reaction using a custom metal work?

It works the same way. Dwarves have a reaction for steel that no other race has, and they certainly bring steel bars and goods on trade caravans. I think the lack of candy wafers may just be the magic of worldgen, what with NPC dwarves not digging low enough to uncover them without the wise guidance of a player.

That being said, I've played modded goblin forts that couldn't make steel bars, but could melt down steel that the dwarves ever-so-kindly gifted next to their corpses... So you may not be able to completely prevent the use of a material by non-brainslurping entities, but I don't think the AI will do that on its own.

If I recall properly, both [WAFERS] and [SPECIAL] metals are excluded from WorldGen; adamantine has both.

the tentacles are a custom bodypart part of the [BODY:ILLITHID] located in the creature raws, the bodypart and attacks work perfectly so there shouldnt be a problem with them.

So has anyone found out what is causing the entity files to crash? I really cant figure it out myself :/

Edit:I'll be also making this my modding questions thread since im too lazy to make new threads for each of my problems or questions.
that being said i'd like to ask following things

a.How do i hide reactions from fort mode
b.What does [DEEP_SURFACE] and [DEEP_SPECIAL] tags do?

DEEP_SURFACE marks the material as a possible underworld surface material, slade basically.
DEEP_SPECIAL, if I remember correctly, is the tag that marks a material as valid for forming spires and tubes (adamantine).
