Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Let me tell you about a city of Arrowrags, my third long-term fort, the fort of a huge megastatue of a dwarf. I made an imgur album, here it is: http://imgur.com/a/2l90J

If you read Russian, it's better to read about this fort at http://vadim-proskurin.livejournal.com/tag/arrowrags

Hope you will like it.

My previous fort was Drilledtraded, the fort of a lead zeppelin and a copper tortoise: http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=150564.0

Most impressive. How long did it take to build that monument?

Looks a bit more like a short human.

Its a feature. Impregnating booze is a planned tech tree for dwarves and this is a sneak peek at it.
Unless you're past reproductive age. Then you're pretty much an extension of your kids' genitalia

17 game years. IRL I started this fort May 6 or 7.

Incredible! not only the design, but the sheer amount valuable ores this must have taken must be more than I've mined in any of my fortresses!

Well done! Truly a great accomplishment of dwarven engineering!

Now just make a swarm of cats at the feet and litter the ground with goblins, blood, vomit, and forsaken xclothesx, and then even that "short human" naysayer will be appeased.

This is an amazing fort and deserves to be seen by more people, so I'm necro posting in the hope that it accomplishes this.

I'm listening to Dark Side of the Moon at the moment and the gif of the megadwarf being built was exactly in time with the heartbeat in Speak to Me. It was intense.

Also, if you ever figure out why poets/bards/dancers just randomly start butchering people/getting butchered, please don't fix it, I love never knowing when a dance party will turn into a slaughter.
