Old Man Morozko was out of breath for the last few moments, and just now looked up to see the woman trying to press her valuables into his hands. He pushes it back, "I won't accept a reward this rich for doing something nice."
He does, however, take the soup, drinking it deeply. Once it's drained, he turns his attention to the growing lynch mob.
"We should take them," he says to the other warriors, gesturing at the captives, "to the authorities."
