Powers:Sorcery.
Description:Friederick is...Not awkward, but just slightly off.  You always expect something else when you look at him.
You are rapidly reminded, however, of the close-cut hair and shaven face, as well as the sharp grey eyes and the rather gangly frame underneath a short gray robe, tied about the waist with a sash.  He specializes in air and transportation magics.

He carries a wand tied about his wrist by a sturdy string as a focus.

Background:Friederick was nothing special, except for the magic he works.  He was the son of some minor nobilities, and had a decent education before volunteering on this almost insane mission in the hope that it would bring glory to his family name.

Name: Meredith Uppermoor
Race: Human
Physical Description: Meredith, if taken as a man, is of a slight normal build, with messy brown hair but without any facial hair, and with an unusually soft voice. Ze usually wears an overcoat, carelessly tied to hirs body, as long as hirs knee; underneath is a pair of breeches and boots. Ze usually brings a backpack (as good as this age can imagine), a shield, and a smith's hammer. You will expect hir to draw out some gadget from the usual places: inside hirs coat, from hirs pack, or behind hirs shield. In addition, hirs hammer is also enchanted.
Background: Liebretierra might be tight on religious orthodoxy, but the drawn out conflict against Al-aswad means it might have to be loosened up a bit, at least in the border regions. The Heterosmiths are born out of this times of need: They collect and study forbidden magic wielded by heretics and heathens, and try to appropriate them in forms of trinkets, charms, or enchanted weapons, that would be used against their very progenitors. Hailing from the not so far away cosmopolitan city of Pen-glin-ar-y-môr, Meredith has been studying magic before ze got employed by a local lord for hirs skills, despite people having little idea to recognize hir as a man or a lady.

n.b. Al-Aswad is a Moor analogue. Pen-glin-a-y-môr means "knee on sea" in Welsh, or a Genoa analogue.

p.s. Retconned Meredith to be officially androgynous.

Physical Descriptin: Grägnarg is a young, but visibly scarred Orc. He has a ring in his nose, and a runic tattoo which he claims says "Plunder or hell".
Background: Grägnarg ("you can call me Greg- he says- that's what everyone already does at the agency") is a mercenary from the Eastlands. He claims to be a full-blooded orc, but his short tusks and pale skin betray a possible human ancestry.
