So as the subject states, my dwarves will eat in the dining room. They will also eat in my jail cells that have a table and chair. I've tried to use the [D]

• to make the path restricted and direct them to the dining room. This really isnt a huge problem or anything but it is kind of annoying to me. Is there any way to make them prefer the "cafeteria"?

Last I checked, Dwarves will go for proximity above all else when they become hungry/thirsty.  So if there is a provisions stockpile near your jail, they will use that furniture instead of your Dining Room.  I think.

They love to eat roasts in the library.
