Pitting or caging goblins?
« on: December 06, 2015, 10:06:35 pm »

When attempting to drop a bunch of caged goblins into a pit, I noticed I couldn't see them in the list.

Looking more into it, I also noticed I couldn't chain them or place them in a built (zoo) cage.

Is this a known bug, or am I just missing something?

I had the same issue when I tried throwing some trogdolytes off a tower last night. I'm assuming it's a bug.

It sounds like a bug. In 0.40.24 any kind of dwarf behaved the same (your own accidentally caught in a trap, a black tower necromancer dwarf, or an undead dwarf). They were a pain to deal with (build the cage and hook it up to a lever to let the dwarf out to meet a suitable fate).

Yeah, I also wanted to throw some sparrow-men and -women into the pits and they wouldn't show up in the list.

I'd guess it has something to do with the fact that non-dwarves can be citizens now.
