Ahh, the rock grenade trick.  Never fails.  +1 to both of the above suggestions.

With the entrance secured for now you hobble over to the elevator side of the reception desk aiming for the guy you had killed, the sight behind the desk makes your stomach churn as you see the remains of the man's head. You take a deep breath and keep yourself from throwing up what little food you managed to eat before beginning the drop, and then bend down to tear a long strip off the man's shirt. You take the strip of cloth and wrap it around your leg to slow the blood flow, whether due to your poor skill or maybe just poor luck your tourniquet only barely effects the blood flow. Gritting your teeth you go on the comm,

"I took a bullet to the leg in the breach, I've staunched the bleeding somewhat, but I'm probably going to need a medic to not die from blood loss."

Shortly after you speak the sound of gunfire comes from outside, and then the remaining fifteen soldiers of your unit rush into the building with Vanburen close behind them. Vanburen looks over in your direction before barking out an order,

"Charles, go use the synth spray on Private Marvin's bullet wound, and make sure he isn't likely to bleed to death before he gets killed by enemy gunfire."

A short grey haired man rushes out of the crowd of soldiers stammering out 'Yes, sir' as he fumbles through a backpack looking for something. By the time he arrives at your side he has a nondescript grey can in hand and starts to stammer out an explanation as he stoops down to examine your wound,

"Th-this is syn ... synthetic me-mesh spray, it'll se ... sea ... seal the wound up for a bi-bit."

You hear the sound of something spraying from an aerosol can, but before you can look to see what's happening pain shoots up your leg and you start to writhe on the ground for a second as you get the sudden feeling of someone burning your leg. When you come back to your senses sweat is dripping from your forehead, and Vanburen is looking at you with a grin as Charles stammers an apology off to the side. Seemingly satisifed with the result Vanburen carries on with the orders.

"Alright, we're in, but now comes the hard part of actually clearing this building. The original breachers are to head all the way up to the fourteenth floor to down whatever the hell it is that's helping tear our division's troops to shreds, and then hopefully re-purpose it for use against the enemy. The rest of us will split into two units of six, and a unit of four. The four man unit will keep the stairwell clear while the six man units start clearing the floors, two at a time.

Now let's get this operation on the road, just remember to keep your head down and don't scream too much when you get shot."

Damn, why us?  Request grenades.  Carefully ascend the stairs to the 14th level after the other team clears it, watching and listening carefully for traps and ambushes.  Try to move silently, or failing that, quietly.

Search for grenades on our victims, and if don't find any, search the room for anything that can make a homemade explosive.
