Wake up the alligator to gain its trust! Then do a power leap!

You give the alligator a wet-wellie in its ear, which wakes it up. It chomps down several nasty-looking fish, then tries to buck you off again, obviously frustrated with you. Right as it lurches upwards, you leap off, and go flying through the air, landing right at the edge of the lake. The coast is clear, quite literally, but the lake still has several creatures trying to kill you. Including the crocodile.

You throw one of the fish at the croc, it snaps its jaws shut violently around the fish, but it continues to charge at you. You decide that it would be best to avoid the croc. You scramble up onto dry land and put as much distance between you and the flesh-eating monster. You notice the light failing behind the horizon. You have to survive the night somehow.

Don't worry, you will be able to get a dino partner, but it would have to be a more pacifist dino.
