Setting Global Values For All Creatures (example: Orientation)
« on: October 21, 2015, 11:18:35 pm »

Hey all.

Is it possible to set global values for all creatures that are left undefined?

For example, if I wanted to have, say, straight farm animals, is there a way to just plonk it down in the RAWs as a global value affecting all creatures that don't have a separate value (ie. farm animals) or do I have to add it in for each creature?

Not trying to be a hater, just don't want to deal with gay farm animals.

nope, probably fastest way is to find-in-files-replace or pydwarf [COMMON_DOMESTIC] with [COMMON_DOMESTIC][ORIENTATION:MALE:0:0:100][ORIENTATION:FEMALE:0:0:100]

it's not gay farm animals that are a problem, it's the ones that won't "marry" the opposite sex; AFAIK, there's no real sense of monogamy to animals, so making them all perfectly bisexual like that is about the same as making them all perfectly heterosexual
