Understandable, but I assume there's still a lot of information-gathering and fake-button-pushing possible.  If you can read the description of items and store them in local data, then you can determine what quality of items you have stocked, and be able to sell off the old stuff and assign the good stuff.

It's not really needed. Basically, the script scans the blacksmith and all shops locally (only local is possible), and tells you whether there are indestructible weapons for sale in any shop or the trade hall (fat chance: i bought them all x) ). You can then create a stockpile of these, and when you create a new castle garrison, you outfit them with indestructible weapons + upgraded indestructible leather armor right from the start. Basically, needing to change their gear is a cost that lowers your game ranking (wasted turns).

a non-upgraded indestructible weapon is all garrisons need to beat anything that comes at them, except players. And if it's players, no gear of any quality is going to help. Entangle Scrolls, say no more.

Are all enchanted weapons indestructible, or is it a separate thing?
If the latter, how do you tell if a weapon is indestructible? Does it just say as much in the description? In that case, I haven't seen any since I started playing again.

Indestructible is an Enchantment, yeah.

And they're fairly plentiful in shops. I just randomly logged in my old characters, and there was an indestructible warhammer right in the shop (only knew because my script told me), which I bought to add to my never-ending pile of them.

Well, i guess i will gradually go around and bring all my dead back to life, then stick them in secret castles to level up some more.

EDIT: I'm checking out which parts of the script are working, and going to list features:

- blacksmith checking (current town)
- shop scanning (current town)
- blacksmith auto-repair : not tested.
- automatic heal script: working
- materials tally, carry limit info in shops
- automatic walking (multiple tiles): works, with occasional hiccups.
