Felix equips the new Maul and sprints after the Goblins!

Goblin Hunting
Felix grabs the crude maul, it is significantly heavier and clunkier than his mace, but as he well knows, with enough force behind it, it can really hurt. That being said, after only a few minutes of running with the mace Felix is winded. It seems the rest of the goblins, with their head start and knowledge of the area, have all escaped deep into the woods.

Basement
You try another door and it seems to lead to the old library. There are toppled shelves, many of them chard, by an ancient fire. There are several inches of water in puddles throughout the room, which has ruined most of the books that didn't catch on fire.

Clensing the Temple
You enter another corridor that is identical to the first one, however at the end of the hall in the room beyond there is no undead. You can see a glowing chest, and the similar holy loot, but you cannot see any undead from outside the room.

[FelixSparks]

Felix curses, hefting that heavy maul, and considering dumping it... Maybe he'll sell it.

"Dammit... Well, let's take everything in the village and leave. I think with the Hobgoblin gone, it'll be less of a problem from them..."

[Adragis]

Felicia decides to take a look through all these books. Maybe some will be undamaged, and besides, even the damaged ones might have a few legible parts.

[Twinwolf]

"We should take his head for proof that we did it."

[FelixSparks]

"I agree. Maybe prove that the mission wasn't as easy as stated. You want that snow goblin? Cause if not I'd like to grab that egg..."

He looks towards the cottages they didn't go into, and steps in, exploring.

[Twinwolf]

"Again, not ready for somewhat sentient creatures. You can have the egg."

[FelixSparks]

"Yesssssssssss.... We should bring him anyway, if we find another key. Maybe have him help out around the guild."

[Beirus]

Beirus and Flare continue towards the room, stopping just outside of it and checking again for monsters. Beirus even checks the ceiling of the room, or at least whatever portions he can see without going inside the room.
