It's really easy to get into Coc; trust me, all you need is one taste of Coc and you'll be begging for more! I wasn't even sure I would like Coc until after I got a taste, and now I'm all about Coc!

Y'know, there should really be a better abbreviation for Call of Cthulhu.

A heads-up regarding the omittions: Only letters and numbers are omitted.

I was afraid this would happen. I was all hyped to run a game over the summer and now I don't feel like running anything at all. Maybe I'll run a simpler version of this game at a later time, but I can't see myself running this any longer.

One last thing - is anyone interested in seeing the prophecies that were written and/or the results of the king's decisions. I could show you later when I'm not pfp.

The Pilot and their cargo handlers paused when they saw that the entire camp is covered in eldritch runes coated in blood. And rotting monkey corpses everywhere..

They decide that they didn't get paid enough for this..

Lets use the ancient naval art of training war parrots. No one will realize they have been boarded by space war parrots until it is to late!
You can fake being able to run on water. You can't fake looking cool when you break your foot on a door and hit your head on the floor.

These are the prophecies, in prophet order (i.e. True Prophet first):

-snow dwarf
Oh great king, the year is going to your liking. Most of decisions will have influenced our country positively but the fishermen of our neighbors won't be happy neither will be the merchants influenced by you.

-Nirur Torir
Spies and traitors, repelled. What next? Not your problem.
Those abandoned, to the church? A foreign noble maiden runaway, discovered. Hidden, and by your blessing at that!
In all else, the winds are a gentle breeze.

-Kashyyk
Saboteurs seize an opportunity.
Piracy strangles income.
Young minds would strengthen the faction.
A hidden princess will be revealed.
Calm decisions makes for smooth sailing.

-heydude6
The artists spreads word of your possession of the painting and the peasants hate you. Your fleet will triump over the scurvy dogs. No merchants ever give you profit. The happiness of your nation is more important than the happiness of your diplomats. The sisters make terrible mothers and the poor children are abused.

-Felissan
Beware the people of your kingdom, who won't forgive you for refusing to hear them.
The sea shall be safe again, and commerce will thrive, but you won't benefit much from it.
The clergy will abuse their newfound influence.

-Bluexdog
If the king decides to renovate the mansion of the philanthropist they will gain a very positive public opinion along with the admiration of the orphans, if he decides to split the boys and girls there will be a lecherous man in charge of the girls one

These were the king's decisions and the results:

1. b) Reveal the painting's value and sell it to the highest bidder
+2 Treasury from the buyer, but -1 Public Opinion for obvious reasons.

2. c) Refuse to guard the Merchants' ship
That show of unfavor lowers Merchant's power by 1.

3. b) Give patronage to scholar and agree to the suggested tithe
-2 Treasury from your funds, but +3 Development because of the things discovered. The Church speaks well of you because of the tithe and Public Opinion gets +2.

4. a) Pardon the fishermen
Increases Public Opinion by 2, but foreign relations lowers.

5. b) Accept the nuns' offer for the orphans
+2 to Public Opinion for being nice, and the Church gains 1 power because you favored them.
