You can make beds out of limestone? Is this a bug? (It was done in a mason's workshop)

I think the miner went into a fey mood, grabbed a slab of limestone, and then created an artifact bed.

Yes, I know, but I didn't know you could make beds out of stone. The option isn't there normally

Artifacts don't follow the same rules as normal things...  a degree of this makes sense.  It could be a slab of limestone that is so well-made that it mystically becomes comfortable to sleep on.

Plus, what else was used in it?  It might not be all limestone, just the frame.

Dwarves can make artifact objects out of materials that they can't normally be made out of. I don't think the code itslef actually restricts the existence of items of any abritrary material, it's the crafting and random generation code that prevents that sort of thing.

Hmm, I saw one make an artifact bucket out or rose quartz once. Would building a well with that bucket make it a legendary well? Maybe it would flow with dwarf ale instead of water, ha.
