The tale of irondefense
« on: July 20, 2015, 01:49:25 pm »

Datannirmek (dw. Irondefense) was set by the wise dwarven King Ezum Lashhollow of the Salves of Enchantment in the year 248, in the age known as The Age of Myth. Located near the road and stream, on the very border between the fighting realms of Dwarves and Goblins, to protect the Kingdom from the dreaded enemy.

And so 7 brave dwarves struck the earth - all of them soldiers of the dwarven militia of the ancient city of small village called Ustuthbal (dw. Fencegrowths). And so they established their defenses in this dangerous country and struck the earth!

What was their surprise when just below the surface, the brave dwarfs had struck gold! It seemed that the fortress might soon be something more than just a border fortress!

By the first winter the fortress had signed an agreement with the capital of its civilization and started exporting golden goblets and leather backpacks, the first needed for the new Royal Palace, the second for the new army raised to protect the borders.

The fortress itself was by now well-established with defenses ready, animals on the pastures and basic farming on the clay level.

It seemed that stupid goblins were still unaware about the new threat just outside their borders. They will soon regret this dearly!
