MDF 6.1 for Linux
Get it here: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=9714

Includes dfhack (but not stonesense), Putnam's latest scripts, and dwarf therapist.

I think I've fixed the linux TTF bug, at least partially - there's a recompiled libgraphics.so that appears to be working so far.  I've only done minimal testing, though - let me know if it's b0rked elsewhere and I can remove it.

A recompiled TWBT is included as well.  The words and letters all look very nice and smooth - it's kinda creepy, actually ...

I'm crying tears of joy right now. At the same time I weep for my productivity.

Updated - now has dfhack r4 with a working stonesense.  Test and let me know.

I won't test stonesense and I'll have to figure out how to use mdf-config (it doesn't look complicated, it's just that having only the names of some options to go by is intimidating to play around with). I guess I'll be able to test it in the next 24 hours.

Therapist fixed.  It was the 40.x version, which sorta worked but not really.  This is the DT2012 version, which works fine.

mdf-config is cheeseball, but it's better than nothing.

TWBT looks awesome, by the way.  With 3d views and actually intelligible text, it's like I have a brand new game.

Wow, this is awesome!

Btw, you can also get the original Settings.exe (or Masterwork.exe?) running on windows. At least that's what I did on my Ubuntu 12.04.

I don't recall everything I did, but I remember that you do need .NET 4.0.
If demanded, I might investigate, what else I tried.

My HDD has been wiped, so I tried to reinstall MDF. After 2 hours of examines of errors I remembered about one feature. If you want to configure MWDF in gui, do:
- install latest wine
- type
Code: [Select]
WINEPREFIX='/home/name/.wine' WINEARCH='win32' wine 'wineboot'- install winetricks
- type
Code: [Select]
winetricks dotnet40 , follow all instructions, and type again it several times
- install dwarf fortress for windows, copy from downloaded folder file "Dwarf Fortress.exe" to folder Dwarf Fortress inside downloaded folder from download link from first post.
- try launch Masterwork Dwarf Fortress.exe:
Code: [Select]
wine Masterwork\ Dwarf\ Fortress.exeIf folder will not found, execute winecfg, and configure virtual disks.

Could you please describe it in details? How exactly should I configure virtual disks?
Or maybe there exists nice instruction somewhere?

I`m playing DF on Linux because of using two processor cores.
