Dragon Gizzard Stones
« on: June 11, 2015, 11:33:14 pm »

A fantasy of mine...

I imagine they glow white and (breaking some laws of physics) are permanently very hot.

I know there are major flaws in this idea... Such as your wooden butcher's shop catching fire and any dwarf fool enough to try hauling it to the gem stockpile catching fire... but I just liked the idea and it has stuck with me. Just to get it off my chest I thought I'd present it to the public. Aside from the obvious fun it would create I thought it might have some uses such as creating a perpetual steam bath.

Dragons have teeth, and thus, no use for gizzards.

Um.. I appreciate your comment, but alligators have teeth... and they also have gizzards.

*edit* And so did the dinosaurs. Which is probably where a portion of the myth of dragons originated.

this would be pretty easy to mod in

In fact, here it is;

add this to the dragon
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

add this in with the other rocks

It's pretty rough, but you get the general idea.

I understand that it is disappointing when a dwarf makes a spiked loincloth instead of an axe.
