Basically, a game which is based on Cataclysm but is much more freeform, and also more realistic. The character creation will be from the actual game, but the rest will be more freeform.

EDIT:

Okay. I will select up to 6 characters (I think that's a good amount?) who provide a character sheet based on the Cataclysm DDA character gen options, and I will then drop them somewhere in the world, either a) together, or b) apart, or c) a mix of the two. They will then have to do cataclysm things, but it will be more realistic and freeform, such as you cutting your hand when you smash the window with your fists and have no gloves on. I will state the status of the players in every turn, including a Cataclysm-style health bar (unless you know yourself well) and how hungry/thirsty you are, as well as a description of your actions and the actions you see that turn.

What will be the policy on metagaming? For example, can I know to butcher the shocker zombie but pulp the others?

Depends on when it's set and how long you've survived in the cataclysm, how old you are. If you provide a reasonable explanation for knowing that you have to do it, then I will let you do it. Or I'll just turn reviving zombies off.
