Push-ups aren't arm exercises. They involve triceps a bit, but they are primarily a pecs and delts exercise.

huh, there's another muscle group I don't have then.
Still have no arm strength anyhow, can't do a pull up to save my life.

Pullups are *hard*, man. You have to lift your entire bodyweight with your arms and chest (depends on the grip).

ya... no kidding.
I can bench press about 160~200 (its been awhile so I forget, probably around 180) and I weigh 220..

Yesterday I made a stew that you might like. Basically I chopped up a whole head of savoy cabbage, threw in three medium potatoes (diced) and half a pound of diced lean beef. Season with garlic, salt and paprika, and let it barely boil for a couple of hours. You'll know it's cooked when the cabbage turns to mush. At the end stir a spoon of flour into a small cup of cold water and add it to the stew, and boil for another 15 minutes. It's delicious and very filling, and I reckon it's not very calorie dense because it's mostly cabbage. Boiling it for so long might not be the best way to preserve all the nutrients in cabbage, but it's the tastiest. I got 4-5 solid meals out of that, and it cost me less than one good meal at a restaurant.

Stews in general are a good idea, because for me at least hot food feels a lot more filling than cold food. And if it's really hot you're forced to eat slowly, which means your brain has more time to realize you're full so you don't end up overeating.

I have never successfully made a good stew or soup.   >:(  It seems to just be something I am inexplicably terrible at considering how easy it should be.

I don't even know, it just tastes bad.  I've given up on soups until I have a lot more free time to figure it how to make soup/seek out the gypsy who cursed me to never make a good soup.

Bumpity. How do you guys get back on track? I used to go to the gym Mondays and Fridays to keep in shape, but due to exams and stuff I haven't gone in like three weeks. Now it's hard for me to go, or to even do body weight exercises at home. I really don't wanna lapse back into the old me. Anyone have any tips or advice?

I have fallen out of exercising and keep telling myself I need to but never do.

Case in point I could have exercised since I'm not tired but instead just spent 4 hours of my night on imgur


Anybody got tips on staying on track?
