Hello!

My game, Alliance of the Sacred Suns, is entering the home stretch before Early Access. It's basically feature complete at this point, but we need to raise some money to get us to that finish line, including testing, balancing, bugfixing, and UI/UX changes! The launch of the Kickstarter will commence at 10AM EST this Friday, the 4th of December. The launch will be accompanied by a live gameplay stream with me, Steve Hawkins, lead developer on the game. Alliance is a groundbreaking 4X/grand strategy game, inspired by games including Crusader Kings II, Sid Meier’s Alpha Centauri, Distant Worlds, Dwarf Fortress, and The Quiet Sleep, as well as Frank Herbert’s classic novel Dune and acclaimed HBO series Boardwalk Empire. As the newly minted Emperor or Empress, you must navigate the vicious feudal politics of a crumbling space empire, building relationships with and manipulating characters who dynamically pursue their own agendas and those of their Great Houses. Power and corruption are at the heart of the game, which layers this political intrigue on top of a richly detailed economic and social simulation with an innovative set of mechanics inspired by board games, including an Action Points system that does away with micromanagement, a Projects system that turns build orders into political footballs, and much more.

Don't know if I'll be able to back the KS but I have wishlisted it on steam and will likely pick it up at some point. Been following this for a while now, can't wait to see the final version.

I already have it, though I admit I kinda poked at it a bit and then put it back in the 'wait for more updates' bin. It's got some good concepts in it though, and people should take a serious look at kickstarting it!

I'll have to give it another go and see how it's improved since I last looked at it.

Just a thought, but can you rearrange the screenshots on Steam? While the genre does tend to have a lot of staring at menu screens, it's probably better to have at least one 'empire' screen visible from the initial selection page because the default first five are... somewhat uninspiring, when quickly glanced at.
