Choose how hard you hit in adventure mode
« on: March 15, 2015, 02:08:20 am »

Sometimes I want to hit someone in the head hard enough to knock them out, but not hard enough completely destroy it.

I thought if you only used your fists, it would stay in non-lethal combat.

(Also, blows to the head only work like that in fiction.)

How did we pass from inns with merry songs and happy music to temples of doom and medieval torture with so much easiness and eagerness??

Actually, you can choose the strengh of aimed strikes. Quick attacks are supposed to be weaker than normal, wild and heavy attacks.

Combat levels only affect what attacks your opponent will use. It's even happened to me several times that I entered non-lethal combat, but got punched to death.

Its a feature. Impregnating booze is a planned tech tree for dwarves and this is a sneak peek at it.
Unless you're past reproductive age. Then you're pretty much an extension of your kids' genitalia

Actually if you hit someone in the right part of the head it can knock them out, stun them making them fall to the ground, or even paralyze them ((such as striking where the spine meets the back of the head))

As long as we can slap some nps across the face and then tell them "No punk it was NOT inevitable, I made it happen!", I shall be satisfied :D.

While falling to the ground unconscious they dont react to lessen the fall and the head hits the floor at full force and the person dies, shit happens.
Or even better its brain damage.
