A skirt made from the tail fibre of a "long pig". (well, how else am I supposed to read "Long Pig Tail Fibre Skirt"?) I thought it was only the elves that went in for "long pig".

(yes, I actually knew that. But I did a double-take the first time I read it, and even though I quickly saw what it was actually saying, I prefer to interpret it this way. So there. )

...So... which long pigs have tails? I mean, there's that old joke "Which cut of long pig do you want?" "I want the tail!" har har har, but even in that joke (remarkably dirty, come to think of it) the ... uh... tail in that case wouldn't be likely to give fibres for fibrecrafts. Or, no, perhaps it's a leather skirt, and it gets bigger if you rub it...

Well, "tail fibre" might not mean fibre from a literal tail, but fibre growing ON the "tail"...
