Ok, I say we counter-offer.

3/4 of our mining bots for the Quantum computer, and only 50 Pacific Rim peeps come with us. Make them 50 of the best and brightest!
I can tell you right now they won't reduce 25,000 to 50.
Unless we roll a 20!

But seriously, if they wont budge on the number of peeps, say no. They would outnumber us 25 to 1...

25 to 10, we have 10,000, they have 25,000.
That's still a ridiculous ratio.

Oh, I thought the ARC capacity was only 1000....

If we take on all our peeps, then offer all our mining bots!

So, what would the point of acceptabilty be? Would it be 1000? 500?

The station can currently hold 1,000 people.

We haven't even got the thing into orbit to work on it yet.

Wait, Asian Pacific has resources industry and crooked rulers? 

Give them info on the Pacific rim and offer to take along 5,000 minimum qualifying colonists they choose (namely family of the wealthy) in exchange for resource and access to their industrial might to build more things.

That will be the one million dollar question, but I can confirm that you can pack in both the Rimmers and all of your staff.

Actually, no, this will be the big dilemma question for the next turns. On how to fill up the ship.

Look we have an interstellar ship to build.  If Pacific Rim will not go down in population or offer more (cheap access to their robotics and automation would be nice) then turning this to extra resources to make a first class cruise ship is what we need.

I may or may not be delusional, let me check the O2 mix.

Minimum deal should be we have even crews and ARK sizes 1 Asteroid : 1 Rimmer, Asteroid remains in command, and we get access to buy some of their automation/robotics tech in addition to the computer.
