I wish more people would pay attention to A.I instead of Graphics. I mean, Graphics are awesome, but A.I is the future and Fear's A.I holds up better than its graphics..
I say that we just need to make AI which makes good graphics.

Best AI? Space Station 13. JimboM12 says: "Ai, post"

....More on topic, Total War: Shogun 2 with the DarthMod is pretty darn fun. The AI won't (or at least I haven't seen it) get into a stupid loop of accepting trade agreements only to break them causing everyone to hate you both for breaking an agreement, making them and you lose more trade partners. :(
And the AI will make smarter decisions about accepting diplomatic agreements: once upon a time, my clan the Shimazu owned all of the southern foreign trade nodes and was raking in the dough and goods. But to the AI my goods were "shoddy" and that's to my allies! Even then, I tried lending a hand to the Oda after they took a good portion of central Japan and was losing quite a bit of trade and as such was getting hammered from the north by the Date, so I sent them a trade agreement. And it didn't take: "I hurd ur guds weer shodie". Really? I have tons of imported cotton and silk and incense and all that good stuff and you're taking Nodachis up the asshole and you still won't accept a deal that will earn both of us some money?  ???

Pemmican is pretty incredibly durable. Corn and rice also lust forever without refrigeration.
Ah yes, the insatiable lust of corn and rice, clearly two of the most erotic foods.

I remember reading that Red October's AI is pretty impressive. I've not played it myself, but it apparently does all the flanking, covering fire, flushing and such.

I've played RO2, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the AI. Especially after clubbing 6 bots to death with an empty pistol(they all rushed my one by one).

On the other hand, if your AI could find bugs and exploits for you, that sounds like the kind of thing that would save time that would otherwise be spent trying to convince human players to find them and actually tell you about them rather than exploit them (Unless, of course, you want to leave them in).
That then leave the exploit section to become a design decision thus invalidating the *using exploit* part.

that was a luky dwarf. I had one dabbling surgeon fail so spectacularly that the patient skull flew a tile away from the table.

DF doesn't mold players into its image - DF merely selects those who were always ready for DF.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

The AI in paradox's grand strategy games is actually pretty impressive.

I'd say the AI (and UI) is the weak part of any paradox grand strategy game. It's simply not good.
Good thing the rest of the game is a well made masquerade and the AI is allowed to cheat. Also the dev are always adding more and more artificial restrictions to avoid the player going "gamey" (or playing optimally).
