   I'm embarking it in a 1x1 desert embark adjacent to a fortress deep in the heart of dwarven-held territory.  We'll probably have to trade for wood for beds, but the coal seams and desert sand should keep us in windows for quite some time. 
   Yes: 40.24.

Literally touching the side adjacent? Because I had some crazy ideas for fortressing. :P



I call it the stealth 3x3.

I suspect that the power of advfort could be used to mine and build at the very edge of fortress maps. Useful for landscaping and unconventional trap zones.

Although I already have plans on my Marriage Science thread for a certain stupid dwarf trick.

Literally 1 embark square south of the fortress, (although walls can only be five tiles away from the edge, so if the fortress takes up that entire area, then the museum will be 5 squares away from it to the south.)

Make the fort the museum!  I would suggest making it underground and into a mountain-side, in the vain of a fallout bunker :P
