Getting detailed directions? [solved]
« on: January 05, 2015, 01:17:43 am »

Alrighty, so there's a small list of monsters the village folks asked me to take care of (Roc/Dragon/Titan) with in their area and doesn't know it's location nor anyone who does. So I went to the neighboring mounds (nearly all in that same region) and asked around, apparently the targets are within the area but every time I ask for directions everybody says "<Target> is in <region>" and I can't pin point it's exact location in my quest tab, is there a way in the dialogue options to get these things physical location or someway in the .xml files to find it like the vault? I find it VERY hard to believe that beast such as these are terrorizing the region and no one knows where exactly they are.

For anyone with the same problems as me, if you ask another wandering adventurer to guide you walk around it's general location and ask "Are we close?" and he/she'll finally give you a detailed direction towards it's location.

You can also ask for directions to the lair/shrine/camp so long as you know its name (using the "Ask for directions" command)

Nikow once wrote this excellent guide about having someone guide you to a location:

Dwarven wine is a little bit like good chicken soup:  solid at room temperature.
