Why don't my dwarves want to butcher animals

Hi all!

Why don't my dwarves want to butcher animals found starved to death? They just bring bring several stray yak cow corpses to the refuse stockpile.

It's a bug in a way, tame animals that starved to death are non butcher able for some reason.
