Twins are random, it seems?

Well a 17 years old dorf gave birth to twins.
Then I reloaded a backup save and waited for her to gave birth, this time it was only a boy.
 ::)

Maybe I can eventually got triplets if I keep reloading?

AFAIK, totally random (can you get quintuplets? Keep trying!)

If I remember the dwarf RAWs correctly, you can only get up to quadruplets.

AFAIK they just have "MULTIPLE_LITTER_RARE", does that set a limit?

EDIT: Wiki says: "Makes the species usually produce a single offspring per birth, occasionally producing twins or triplets using typical real-world human probabilities.", so probably there is a limit.

I thought they had a manual limit too, separate from the MULTIPLE_LITTER_RARE?
