Control over caste pronouns

Okay so everyone is insistent I take this to suggestions rather than keep in in Future of the Fortress, but I've been avoiding it due to the potential reaction, since every other related thread has involved a lot of moderation and just awful stuff being said.

So just... don't do that stuff. Please.

I really think it would be great to have control over pronouns in a more direct fashion. Like, for example, if I attach no_gender tag to a caste, I could designate feminine, masculine, non-sentient, or neutral. It would default to the appropriate pronoun in a case with no tags.

This would be applicable to all current gender designations, male, female, no_gender, and the currently feminine one that has no marker.

Neutral would use they, them, and their.

Could you not have a completely freeform system? Like:
[CASTE_PRONOUNS:they:them:theirs]
or something.

That would allow for accommodating fringe cases where you want to use a combination outside what is standard for whatever reason.

Yea that would work perfectly.

Really any sort of non-mandatory tag would be great. Having to overwrite all the raws for a mandatory tag would not be the way I would do it, your suggestion is perfect.
