38a: Constant Rejections

Hey, has anyone else had seeds that constantly get Rejected once they get to Age of Myth?  Or old seeds from 33g that had no Rejections suddenly hit up into 100+ Rejections?  
I'm not sure if this is a bug or what, but it has me worried.

33g seeds are completely different from 38a seeds. Nothing about them is the same.

Also, there's more to generate in 38a. I usually get in the 50s.

Alright an update.  I understand that there is alot more to put in and stuff, but I just left Dwarf Fortress run overnight to gen a world.  Now I woke up and looked over, I had over 6000 rejections.  Is it possible to get that BAD of a seed? (Random Generation)

You have an error in the creature or entity files. It might be due to modding or a freak bug. Enable world rejection logging in the game's init, and run rejection again. You should see the reasons for rejection logged in a separate txt file. If you only get normal rejection reasons such as insufficent amounts of a certain type of land, then it's perfectly normal - you just stumbled on a particularly bad seed, in which case I would like to see it myself.   :p

Edit: also, just making sure - you did delete the old version completely before installing the new one, right? So much has changed that overwriting the old version might not have worked.

No, I took the "Saves from XXa+ compatibale) thing to mean I could overwrite, I'll get back to you if this problem persists (Yeah, most of it was normal, one earlier was No controllable Entities).  Deleted everything thing from 33g and re-installed. (er Just now)

I had the rejection logs on.  Anyways, got it to work this time, I'll have to start another fortress and work a brewer from the get go... Must, have Legendary Brewer....

I remember the first map I was going to do in the new version. I decided to go with a random seed, my computer crashed at 709 REJECTS.

It seems that saves are compatible...mods and seeds are not.

Translation: You can copy over the save folder. Not much else.  If you copy over the raws or data/objects folder the game can't understand the old raws' entity and biome formats.
Even in vanilla DF there are new tags for entities that determine worldgen placement. The old DF raws do not have these, so when it tries worldgen with the old entity raws it doesn't know where to place them, so it skips them.  And since all civs would be missing these you only end up with a world populated with wildlife, no civilization, and without civilization the world is unplayable.

I got 1 on a world. Nice.

Also, the seeds are the same in everything that matters: geography.
