Hey guys, I'm currently running a live stream of DF and was wondering if anyone wanted to watch and critique me on my ability. I've been wanting to do Let's plays for a while and I want to practice before I get into them properly.

http://www.twitch.tv/brandedahall If you're interested. It's just going to be a relaxed and slow video where I play the game and probably fail horribly at it. I've found that I respond well to questions and people talking, duh, rather than silence when trying to talk about stuff.

I've actually beem thinking of doing similar myself but twitch's 15+ second imposed latency is infuriating.

The 'Play with your buddies' child-board would probably be the best place for this thread.

I'll follow your twitch and watch if you're ever live when I'm online! Personally I'm curious about how well a video-LP of Dwarf Fortress would go. I can see it being better in a stream format than just flat talking-to-yourself though.

Input is best for something like DF. That said, twitch is horrible for this.
