Usual quiet day at my fort (no sieges or a single attack since i started this fort for 3 years  ) and then suddenly i hear combat sounds and observe a brutal beating of one of my Planters by the captain in soundsense log.
I went to check what injuries he had sustained and fortunately all were bruises, a whole lot of them, he got beaten up bad, also it said that the planter was astonished to have punishment reduced. So here i am staring at Justice screen and i see: Violation of Production order. Injured party, mayor. (There was mandate on exports of bolts)
This is the weird part, i have no idea what the planter was doing just before the beating, but i currently had no caravans in my fort, nor i had exported any bolts, i never had in fact.

I hope someone can explain this mysterious beating to me, at least my captain did not have any weapons, i have stocked steel weapons ready to go, otherwise this might end up with the urist mcplanter being in a coffin

Probably the mayor mandated the production of something that was not executed, and that poor farmer was blamed responsible.

Justice is weird at the moment, this is nothing unseen before...

At first i thought that too, but i always closely monitor my mandates, i only had 3 so far all being bans on exports, Glass, Tables, Bolts

If it's any consolation I have 4 convictions by my queen against 4 different dwarves for export violations, and I've only exported her fetishist stuff once, when there was no ban, only 2 people have ever traded, and I think I have traded only 3 times. Someone said you can get convictions just for bringing the stuff to the trade depot (such as it being in a bin together with other stuff).
So, yes, the justice system is a bit off.
