On the third level of forges look for a windy passage to the top-left, that should take you to the stairs.

Fortresses occasionally generate without exits. There probably is one though, they're almost always difficult to find.

Its a feature. Impregnating booze is a planned tech tree for dwarves and this is a sneak peek at it.

I know but how should I find it when there is 200k doors and 30 floors and I don't even know if the exit is above or below me....

The trick is that in bedroom floors, the doors almost always just lead to more empty bedrooms so you can pretty much ignore those. I've found that the exits are most common on the floors with shops, dining halls, and most importantly actual dwarves and interesting stuff rather than infinite tunnels of small rooms with nothing in them you wander around for hours and hours and still never find anything but more and more empty rooms!

Don't bother spawning in fortresses, hillocks are more straight forward without all the needless headache.

Sometimes you can fast travel out.
Try dropping +Socks+ to mark dead ends and stuff.
Sometimes the fortress layout will change while you're asleep.
If all else fails, Advfort and mine your way up. :P
