How's The Lag?
« on: November 04, 2014, 09:58:30 am »

So I realize that...well, the unstable version(s) of .40 were LAGGY.

How's the lag in the latest stable version of .40xx?

Thanks!

My experience has been that 40.14 is fine, except when the leaves begin to fall. For a short while, it gets really laggy, and then it stabilizes again once they're done.

In my own experience I tend to only get lag in cases where there's loads of trees (at all times of year, leaves falling etc. doesn't make any noticeable difference) or in embarks with many above-ground layers. Neither of these are a problem fr me most of the time though since I generally prefer flat embarks with very few trees anyways.

This is with 0.40.13, by the way.
