Creature logic w/ new movement?

Any !!SCIENCE!! done on how well usual creature logic arrangement work with current movement - especially hatches over holes. I fear a lot of jumping over opened hatches, but haven't tested the different creatures (dwarf, pet, hostile, fleeing hostile). Has someone else?
