One time, at a petting zoo I was like 10 and had a plastic cup full of feed. I was feeding some peacocks and shit when this ostrich a couple cages down starts fucking screaming bloody mary at me. I walked up to give it some food and with nearly a full cup still it started attacking the fuck out of the cup, mangling it like it was a lion to a zebra carcass. My arm was fully stretched out as to avoid the bloodbath and when I realized it was getting a lot of feed on the ground I backed up and decided to try and feed the other animals. Right when I moved my hand the ostrich looked me dead in my eye about 4 feet away and screeched so goddamn loud I jumped. I will never forget the sound it made and the way it looked at me.
